Visible Solutions LLC is an artwork enterprise established in 2010 in Tallinn, Estonia by three artists – Sigrid Viir (b 1979), Taaniel Raudsepp (b 1978) and Karel Koplimets (b 1986). The main sphere of interest of the enterprise is constituted by the mechanics of the world of economy and the world of art which they try to set against each other - economy as art, art as trade and production. “Hoisting the Banner” is a ritualistic photo performance that takes place when Visible Solutions LLC enters a new market. This happens when we exhibit our works in a new country. By placing the invisible hand on the national flags our goal is to bring into focus the economic order and to create a grotesque post factum visual of the advancement of the neoliberal economic order.
